Often we think about our ancestors, and the way they would be like. Thanks to the scientists from the Senckenberg Research Institute, we can put a human face on our ancestors.
They used sophisticated methods to form 27 model heads based on tiny bone fragments, teeth and skulls collected from across the globe. Here we show some of them, which their scientific name and the years the lived.
The heads are on display for the first time together at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Frankfurt, Germany.
